Don’t just come to Pot-a-Doodle Do for the fun Interactive Art Studio, the smashing children’s play area, fabulous fishing or beautiful location; You can also come to Pot-a-Doodle Do for a mouth-watering Borewell Breakfast, mid morning break, leisurely lunch, or an afternoon treat!

Located in an attractive converted barn the Pot-a-Doodle Do Café Bistro is cosy and warm as toast all year round, with a lovely log-burning stove. There’s plenty of space for up to fifty-five people to have a long leisurely breakfast, lunch or tea; and as it’s licensed, you can have a glass of wine or a beer with your meal too!

A scrumptious full cooked Borewell breakfast, sausage stotties, eggs Benedict, or fruity pancakes are waiting to tempt your taste buds. Served daily from 9am until 10.30, you can really enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the café bistro. Sip a morning tea, or go for a caffeine fix with an espresso, cappuccino, latte, or mocha. Naturally there’s a great selection of caffeine free speciality teas, and cold beverages for you to choose from too of course.

You can rest assured that all the delicious dishes on the menu at Pot-a-Doodle Do are made with good fresh local produce, wherever possible, to give you a fabulous taste of Northumberland. We also do our entire home baking here on site! Our cakes and tray bakes are super yummy, made right here with fresh free-range eggs and real butter. And just wait till you
taste our homemade scones!

Wet your appetite with a few of the delicious dishes from the Pot-a-Doodle Do menu:

Fresh soup of the day, followed by delicious pure Aberdeen Angus steak baguette, 100% beef burgers, baked potatoes, toasties and paninis.

Enjoy a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings, including a superb Aberdeen Angus roast and homemade Yorkshire puds, roasties, mash and vegetables, served from 12noon till 2pm. With its log burner the bistro is a cosy warm Sunday haven, where you can warm your toes or your cockles with a glass of wine or beer.

Through the week get soup and a sandwich of your choice for just £5.50.

The children’s menu includes kids favourites such as hot dogs, beans on toast, and sausage rolls.
