Accessible Glamping, UK
The Wigwam Lodge Accessible provides luxurious accommodation for all users. We have 3 Ensuite Accessible Wigwams which can sleep a party of up to 4 adults or a family of 5 with plenty of space inside for comfort and ease of movement.
This glamping pod is fitted with ensuite facilities with a Mira sport shower. The adapted design follows category 3 disabled regulations and provides mobility support throughout, including an electric charging point, a wide access wet room with grab rails, adjusted sink and hob, and ample space for wheelchair movement and turns. This accommodation is also a natural choice for larger groups requiring more space, or those with additional support needs
Fully self-contained insulated, heated Wigwam with en-suite shower, toilet and sink. Kitchen with double hob, microwave, kitchen sink, fridge kettle and toaster. All pots, pans, cups, glasses, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided. Double bed platform with additional pull out sofa bed to sleep up to 4. Dining table with chairs/seating. Flatscreen TV with DVD player.
Wheelchair ramp provided.
Feel like a barbeque? Well, there are three fabulous barbeque huts for hire, where you can cook, chat and enjoy the outdoor life. No disposable BBQs are allowed on site for further terms and conditions please see below.

Our accessible wigwams are provided as part of our Northumbrian Wigwams Accessibility Project. Thank you to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development for part funding the project. This was a project to purchase and install three new luxury fully accessible wigwam units with ensuite facilities and associated groundworks.

What do I need to bring with me for my stay?
- Bedding, either flat sheet with duvet and pillows or sleeping bags and pillows. (Bedding can be hired as an optional extra)
- Towels
- Toiletries
- Bringing crockery and cutlery is optional as it is supplied in communal kitchen
- Washing up essentials (washing up bowl, dishwashing detergent, cloth, tea towel)
- Torch
- £1 coins to purchase electric cards
- Wellies for wet days
